Surround yourself with fine art and natural beauty at one of the country’s foremost museums of art, Americana and design set in the heart of the Lake Champlain Valley.

Shelburne Museum offers an extraordinary setting for your special day. Whether you choose the stately Brick House estate, the rustic Round Barn, the steamship Ticonderoga or any of the serene and lush gardens on the 45-acre campus, a wedding at Sheburne Museum is guaranteed to be unforgettable.

Selected among the top wedding destinations in the country by wedding expert Kathryn Gabriel Loving in her book 100 Best Wedding Destinations.

Shelburne Museum’s elegant, historic and stunning wedding locations:

The Brick House
The Vermont estate of Shelburne Museum's founder, the Brick House offers an extraordinary pastoral setting with panoramic views of the Adirondacks and Lake Champlain.

Steamboat Ticonderoga
A National Historic Landmark and fully restored to its 1920’s elegance, the 220-foot Ticonderoga provides a truly unique setting. Guests wander the steamboat’s five decks and marvel at the expansive views of the Museum grounds and the surrounding mountains.

The Round Barn
Nothing captures the essence of a country wedding like the Museum’s historic turn-of-the-century Round Barn.  For that perfect blend of rustic charm and simple elegance, the landmark Round Barn with art exhibits throughout and a giant wooden silo in the center is a perfect venue for your Vermont wedding.

Meeting House
The 1840 brick Meeting House with its quintessential New England architecture with Greek Revival features includes a pipe organ and tromp l'oeil wall paintings. Just the place for ceremonies.

Bostwick Garden
A painters palette of color surrounds guests at the elegant, circular Bostwick Garden. This private spot is tucked away on the Museum grounds for a serene and peaceful wedding site.
