Before delving into the details of Danielle Giandomenico and Jameson Job's wedding, proper credit ought to be given where it's due. Dani and Jamie were living in Vermont when they were brought together by an unconventional pair of matchmakers, named Benz and Si. Benz, Jamie's dog, a German Shepard who would plod about outside the family business where Jamie worked, took an instant liking to Si, the Great Dane that often accompanied Dani to her next door office. The feelings were mutual and Si and Benz began to look for each other each time they arrived at the parking lot by the neighboring buildings. Despite her canine pal's budding friendship with Benz, Dani still had never met Jamie.

On the particular day that Benz and Si made their match, Dani was running late. She parked her car and swung open the door, sweeping up loose work papers in one hand and answering her phone with the other. Simultaneously flinging a heavy messenger bag over her should and spilling coffee down her blouse, Dani jumped out of the car and turned to let Si out as well. When she did, the Great Dane seized the opportunity to take off in search of Benz. Dani, still on the phone, her work papers everywhere and car doors wide open, turned to chase after her amorous pet. Around the corner Benz had heard Si's barking and, Jamie hot on his heels, came careening towards the sound. Dani recalls the rest in slow motion. As all four rounded the corner, Dani promptly hung up her phone, dropped her bag, introduced herself to Jamie, and the rest, as they say, "was history."

It was only a little over a year later when Jamie proposed. The couple had returned home from a three course meal at A Single Pebble, where they had their first date. Jamie waited until Dani had changed out of her fancy clothes and was lounging in bed watching T.V with her arms around their two sleeping dogs. He entered the bedroom casually and crouched down on one knee beside Dani on the bed. Holding out the ring box Jamie explained, "this is exactly how I like us best" and asked if they could do it forever. Dani, who clarifies that she was not a woman to fantasize about her wedding or proposal, surprised even herself by crying hysterically, barely able to nod her head yes.

Dani and Jamie chose to have a closed ceremony at Shelburne Farms. They decided on a Vermont wedding not only because Jamie grew up there, but because, as the place where they met, and lived together, it has always held a special place in their hearts. Benz, Si, and immediate family witnessed the ceremony under a platform tent surrounded by pouring rain. The night before the wedding, they hosted a rehearsal dinner at A Single Pebble, recounting memories of their first date and proposal.

The reception was a much larger celebration, open to all of the couple's friends. They decided to hold it at the Vermont National Country Club and they chose a palette of blues and purples, their favorite colors. At the end of the night, Dani's cousin sang "I Am I Said" by Neil Diamond and her whole family belted out the chorus with him.

The pouring rain that lasted throughout the day actually, "made for some really cool pictures," Dani says. "Getting married on a covered patio, overlooking the water at Shelburne Farms Inn while it poured all around us was magical." Although Dani and Jamie may have enjoyed the rain on their wedding day, it should be safe to say that may have enjoyed the climate in Dubai and the Maldives, where they began their married life on their honeymoon, even more.
