Re: Riverside Farm
Yes, Riverside Farm is amazing! Have you been on a tour yet? It's unlike any other place we looked at. I got married there last year...absolutely wonderful. The staff was so helpful and knew all the best vendors and my guests enjoyed the farm so much -many of them had never been to Vermont. There are so many cool buildings- barns, cottages and locations to host your parties... rest assured - they do an incredible job... Our guests are still talking about our wedding. I would recommend this place to anyone. It's gorgeous.

Re: Riverside Farm
Jenn, Can you email me with the particulars? What time you got married? How many people? How much your site fees where?etc. I think I just figured out if I wanted to have a winter weekend wedding in the Red barn and cellar, the site fees are going to be $1z alone with out food or drinks. Is that what you paid? How are the accommodations? Thanks. jholter0096@yahoo.com

Re: Riverside Farm
YES!!! My husband Jory and I got married there in August 2006 with 150 guests. A year and a half later, my family and friends are still raving about it. Actually, we were just at a wedding last weekend and multiple friends of ours there mentioned to us once again that our wedding was by far the best wedding they have ever been to. From the magical location (green mountain summer or white snow winter) to the friendly owners/wedding planners to the food, we had the most incredible experience there. We stayed in the romantic bridal suite, our parents in a cabin down by the river, and our 6 brothers and sisters in bedrooms above the horse stables. We went back this summer for our anniversary and they just built a groom's suite which looks incredibly cool. So there is plenty of place for your family to stay on the property. In our experience, they all got giddy being on the farm. It doesn't hold a candle to staying in a hotel. Also, having the Friday night rehearsal dinner there got our guests so pumped to come back Saturday night once their jaws dropped from seeing the property. I can honestly go on and on. If you are someone who wants a personal, intimate, unique, warm and magical non-cookie cutter wedding, then it is definitely the place for you. Please let me know if you need any more advice, I'm happy to help!

Re: Riverside Farm
Hi Julie! I just got married there October 7th of this year. I absolutely cannot say enough great things about Riverside Farm, and wholeheartedly agree with everything that's been said above. Our wedding was small by their standards - only 65 people. Most of the weddings they host are much larger. It's 2 months later, and our guests are STILL talking about the farm, and how it was the best wedding they have ever been to. I am happy to send you some photos if you'd like to give me your email address. Also agree that having the rehearsal dinner on Friday night is key. Everyone loved it, and it gives you a chance to see everyone before the wedding. We had to do our wedding on a budget too, and I can tell you that it was worth every penny, and their prices are very reasonable considering what you get out of it. The food was great, service was great, and the wedding could not have been better. Everything went off without any glitches since they are so organized. True professionals. And the accomodations were fantastic! Our guests stayed in the stables, new groom's suite and we had the bridal suite, which is so beautiful and relaxing. I literally could go on and on and on. Feel free to ask any other questions. It could not have been better. Best of luck to you!
