| | Re: More band recommendations?? | | Hi jessica, we just got married in Grafton, Vt and had the most amazing salsa/ funk /old school band. The best live music We have heard in a long time. They were so much fun. They were a 6 piece band that jamed out. They played james brown to carlos santana. If you are intrested, I can give you their info. There name is Gusano.
Hope it helps |

| | Re: More band recommendations?? | | I attended a wedding in August and the band was Sister French. They too had a great variety of music from easy listening jazz to Led Zepplin. They are a six piece band with a female vocalist and a sax. The dance floor was crazy all night! I have also seen them at Breakwaters in Burlington and occasionally they are at the Lincoln Inn in Essex Junction. They have a web page: www.sisterfrench.com with contact info. |

| | Re: More band recommendations?? | | A friend of mine had a band called Shakedown at her wedding in Burlington this September. There were 6 band members - 3 female singers (female sax and guitar player). They were not an average wedding/cover band- had a young feel and played newer stuff, but also did the wedding band 'standards'. I would totally recommend them! |
