| | looking for a barn for fall 2008!! | | Hi - I'm looking for a great old barn to hold my small wedding in next fall. I'm looking at 75 guests max. I'm on the eastern border w/ NH (I live in Fairlee...about 30 min north of White River Jct, an hour south of St. J ). I don't really need a whole lot of bells and whistles...I already know what I'm doing for catering, set-up etc...I just need a space that we love. If you know of anyone who rents out their barn / grounds for functions like this, please drop me an email at ealachan@hotmail.com. Thanks! |

| | Re: looking for a barn for fall 2008!! | | I'm searching for an old barn as well for about 75 people (we're still in the beginning planning stages, it could be anywhere from 30 to 100 people). We will be based out of Hubbardton and any place up to an hour from there would be perfect. Do you know of anyone renting their barn out for functions? Please let me know. |

skinner barn
inn at round barn
and i visited this place called the west hill house; it's in my opinion perfect for a small wedding; the owners are great; it's just a quiant place that looks cool at night w/ the lights, etc; in their garden...

| | Re: looking for a barn for fall 2008!! | | Hi Shelby,
The Skinner barn and the Round barn are both beautiful but can be very high in cost. I am getting married
next fall at the White Rocks Inn in Wallingford and might be a great place for you as well. They have a HUGE red historic gothic barn.
Just a thought and if you have any questions just let me know. |
