Chances are that not many marriage proposals take place on a Monday, but in Yael and Matt's case, it turned out to be the perfect day. Wanting the proposal to be an utter surprise, Matt Boynes was careful to go ring shopping in Montreal to avoid running into anyone he knew and was discreet in his preparations. The biggest surprise, however (Yael never actually said yes, just "Oh my God, Oh my God, Oh my God!") may have been thanks to the jeweler.

The choice of a Vermont wedding was hardly unexpected for New England-raised Katie and Zach St. Amand-- it is their favorite place on earth-- but their choice of Boyden Farm, a property on the banks of the Lamoille River is particularly fitting, given the meaning the river holds for the couple. Katie explains, "As adults we wait all year to travel up each spring and summer to fish on the Lamoille River, camp, and listen to the mountain air.

This is enough to make at least a 40 foot garland!  

-Lots and lots of scraps in at least 10 different patterns. This would be a great use of fat quarters and it's also a fun and effective way to whittle away at your stash! You can get at least 6 feet of garland for every 1/4 yard (or fat quarter) of fabric!    

-1 spool Gutermann Invisible thread
