Spotlight Talent: Birchgrove Baking

Set in a quaint little shop outside of downtown Montpelier, Birchgrove Baking can be relied on to impress customers, whether they're looking for a latté or a wedding cake. Designer coffee drinks typical of upscale urban cafés are passed over the counter with small town friendliness. Birchgrove Baking is dedicated to the highest quality confections and works to use local Vermont products whenever possible. The flexible staff at Birchgrove work with customers to create custom cakes or choose from a number of pre-designed confections, including a maple pecan spice cake (spiced chiffon cake layered with maple mousse and toasted pecans, iced in maple buttercream) and a flourless chocolate cake (a dense and fudgey chocolate cake glazed in bittersweet chocolate ganache) for special events.
