What better way to celebrate a 29th birthday than with a wedding? That’s exactly what Dawn and Sean did with their “double-party” wedding day on the day of Dawn’s birthday.
Garden themed décor filled the beautiful white tent and created a forest-like atmosphere. That, along with the floral arrangements painted a backdrop of beauty throughout the reception.
“The fact that Sean and I are such fun-loving people who aren’t afraid to laugh at ourselves is what kept the happy mood for the whole evening,” Dawn says.
The band was a perfect addition to the evening and kept the party upbeat all night long.
“You felt like you were at a private concert just for you and your family and friends. Amazing!” Dawn says.
Some advice from Dawn to future brides:
1. During the actual wedding day, if you can designate someone to have the job of coordinator/liaison between you and all of the vendors then do so. You want to enjoy the day and not get caught up in coordinating things.
2. ENJOY your cocktail hour! Mingle with everyone during cocktail hour so that you can converse a little so you don’t spend the whole time at the reception going from table to table.
3. Take your husband/wife aside during the thick of the reception and just look around for a couple minutes…step back and observe how much fun everyone is having, the beautiful décor, etc. If you don’t make it a point to do that then the night will just be a blur.
