Ellen & Ben's nuptial celebration held at The Park McCullough House in North Bennington, Vermont, was a dream come true. The couple chose Bennington - the bride's home town - for it's rustic charm and outdoor appeal.
Having hiked in the woods behind The Park McCullough House with their dog for years, the couple knew it was the perfect location. The color palette featured Vermont's finest autumn offerings and a rustic feel, bringing out the natural surroundings along with the couple's love for each other. Small gourds surrounded the tall glass vases filled with bittersweet or burst milkweed as their centerpieces. Orange and white paper bag luminaries were used to light the path from the house veranda, where the cocktail hour was held, to the Carriage Barn, where the reception was held.
During the ceremony, their guests held "YAY!" flags to wave during the ceremony. Symbolizing embrace and a sense of unity, Ellen & Ben arranged their guests' seats in a circle around them. Ending their sensational ceremony with Vermont-inspired desserts of apple and pumpkin pies was a treat for their guests, along with Pumpkin Pie-tinis during their delicious cocktail hour!
