Real Wedding: Rowan & Kevin
Photography: Kingdom Wedding Photography by Kat, Reception Site: Alerin Barn
Rowan Seidel and Kevin Coughlin know a thing or two about serendipity. Both native Vermonters, the two met as roommates by chance, answering an ad for the same residence--and as of their September wedding in St. Johnsbury, VT, the rest, as they say, is history.
Victims of a hectic schedule, Rowan's mother played a vital role in the wedding planning process, to great success and the delight of the happy couple. Set at the Alerin Barn, bride and groom (who chose to see each other before their beautiful outdoor ceremony) rode whimsically uphill on a tractor provided onsite, wedding party beaming in tow. Friends and family were on hand to wish the pair well as they promised "I Do."
Saturated in personal details, all the elements of the day only added to its focus on the newlyweds and their loved ones. Their well-traveled boots and cherished canines made lovely additions to the wedding photos, and customized favors were the perfect flourish to send guests away with happy memories. Never ones to forget what's important, the two even hired a dogsitter to drive their pets home after posing, in avoidance of too much heat and noise for their furry comfort. Small gestures like that show the care and consideration that makes marriage last--they may have met by chance, but Rowan and Kevin are certainly a sure thing.
