Real Wedding in New Zealand: Chloe & Rafael

Chloe & Rafael's nuptials were celebrated in the beautiful country of New Zealand. Known for breathtaking scenery & natural lifestyle, the environmentally-friendly city of Auckland was the perfect location for the couple. Chloe & Rafael wanted to incorporate both of their birth countries - Rafael is Brazilian - into the ceremony, combining Brazilian & New Zealand traditions. Cupcakes with New Zealand & Brazil flags was a unique way of connecting both worlds.
Traditional white & grey were the basis for the color palette. The bouquet sparkled with white roses & small blue flowers. The elegant wedding cake incorporated blue with ribbons around each layer. The cake was detailed with white roses & rose petals. Unlike traditional wedding cakes, the couple chose a romantic topping of two kissing white doves.
After the traditional ceremony at the beautiful old Auckland city church, Chloe & Rafael joined their guests at the Wintergarden Pavilion for delicious food, wine & dancing!

Great post! It's fun to see the international weddings every now and again. My fiance is Kiwi (from New Zealand) so we're doing an Upstate NY and a ceremony in NZ next Christmas. Fun idea with the cupcakes and flags...
