The wedding came together around one thing: the dress. Before buying her dress, Courtney was really unsure of which direction she wanted the wedding to go. But once she saw the dress, it transformed everything.
"I knew then that I wanted the whole wedding day to be as elegant and beautiful as my dress," Courtney said.
And it was.
With a reception filled with gourmet food and candy bowls of excellence, Courtney and Stephen's favorite moment was during their first dance, when their two-year-old son was able to watch them, closely.
"It seemed as though he understood how important the day was to us. I can only hope that that moment, and the happiness he felt from everyone, will stick in his memory forever," Courtney said.
Courtney and Stephen would like to offer some advice for future newlyweds:
1) Don't get caught up in the details. There's a lot of decisions to be made throughout the whole process, so you just have to take it one step at a time and not get overwhelmed!
2) Just keep in mind that at the end of the day, you are marrying the love of your life and that is what everyone is there to see. And that is what they will remember. No one cares about the color of the napkins.
