DIY Vintage Ribbon Bookmark {Courtesy of The White Library -- Blog}
Searching for the perfect wedding favor for your nuptials? We have the perfect choice for a chic, glamorous or vintage-inspired affair. With four simple steps you can create a handmade bookmark - a stylish accessory for your next beach-read. Select velvet for a classic look or a pastel color to capture the essence of spring.
All you'll need is ribbon, ribbon clamps, flat-nose jewelry pliers & jump rings. Step one: cut the ribbon - we absolutely adore the idea of using velvet - into nine-inch lengths. Step two: gather ribbon clamps, the same width as your ribbon. Step three: use flat-nose jewelry pliers to affix clamps to both ends of the ribbon. Step four: for your final step, finish by attaching charms or trinkets to the clamps with jump rings. This final touch will add an extra piece of flair to your project. Invite your bridesmaids over to turn this project into an evening of relaxation & gossip to unwind during the wedding-planning process or after a long work week!
