DIY Project: Vermont Vows & WellWed

Forget those old, boring table markers & go vintage! Today's DIY project is a crafty vintage table marker featured in the gown section of our Fall/Winter 2011 issues of Vermont Vows & WellWed. All you need for this project is a mason jar, white flocking powder, shimmering baubles, jewels, glitter, vintage house numbers & small pieces of wood - which can all be found at your local craft store, vintage haunt or around your home.

First, sprinkle the bottom of the mason jar with glittery white flocking powder to create a wintery effect. Be sure not to get heat near the flocking powder, or it will become sticky & won't have the sparkling effect you want! Next, find a selection of vintage house numbers & give them a new life as table markers. Attach the number to a small piece of wood to make it stand in the mason jar. Voile! Guide guests to their tables in true seasonal & vintage style!
