Black&White_VT.jpg

Black and white is the perfect color scheme for a classic wedding that exudes style. Guests will be positively captivated by the chic and polished look it evokes. This color scheme leaves room for additional colors to be added in as accents, such as a pop of wedding shoes peeking out under a dress. Play with black and white in your bouquet, invitation, and cake, and you will be able to create a unique wedding that radiates luxury.

Martha and Eliot love Maine. Having both grown up and met here, it was inevitable this New England state would be the location of and inspiration for their wedding. “We wanted the wedding to reflect us and Maine,” Martha says. “There were a number of out of town guests coming to Maine for the first time and we wanted them to see and experience why we love Maine so much.” The couple chose a simple color palette of white and green to reflect the natural beauty of the state. The green was inspired by the evergreens of Maine with a pine tree theme resonating throughout.

The wedding dress is perhaps the biggest choice that brides think about when planning their wedding. For a style that will never fade, opt for a vintage, or vintage inspired gown. Consider flipping through old photographs to pinpoint the style that would suit you best on your wedding day. If you are feeling bold, colorful wedding gowns can be just as elegant and special as white ones. Don’t be afraid to stray away from the classic white wedding gown for a modern twist to your wedding look.
