Bridal Booty Emu Soap.jpg

It’s Friday! It’s Friday! Lunaroma, Vermont Prime Emu Producers, Inc. and Vermont Soap bring this week’s Bridal Booty to you. With Lunaroma’s ginger snap sugar body polish, your body gets dual action by scrubbing and polishing the skin at the same same time!  After, nourish and moisturize with VPEP oil and soap. Aboriginal people of Australia have used emu oil and soap for therapeutic purposes, now so can you!

Good Morning ladies, only one more day until its Friday!  We have a cute DIY for you today brought by The Broke-Ass Bride courtesy of 100 Layer Cake.  A vintage necklace brooch is the perfect project for giving your guests, bridesmaids, or anyone involved in the wedding a special treat.  We love this classy idea; it's unique, antique, and definitely chic.  Click

We adore the warm colors and lighthearted atmosphere of Ellen and Bruce’s wedding at The Grand Island Lake House. “We used the beauty of the Vermont landscape as our canvas to create a colorful and fun wedding celebration,” says the bride and groom.

Shoes should be a bride's best friend. Step out of the classic white pumps and express your own unique style. Let your creativity run wild with the wide variety of colors and styles to choose from. Everything from peep toes in bright green or teal (or purple or yellow!) to TOMS causal yet elegant flats are now acceptable fete footwear. Accent your wedding day with a bold pair of shoes that will add a burst of color, and a burst of personality.

Mollie and Nia turned their wedding into a weekend-long affair at Shelburne Farms—the National Historic Landmark where the couple went on their first date and got engaged four years later! They joined their guests for three days of yoga, hiking, and dancing—all the ingredients for a relaxing getaway. But nothing tops the serenity of their Sunday afternoon ceremony. “We were married in a grove of trees and our guests stood around us,” says the couple. “It was absolutely perfect for us.”

This week we are inspired by shades of green and orange. The two wonderfully mesh together creating a color palette that is simply chic and adorable. We love the subtle tones of green with a pop of orange. Dresses, bouquets, even décor in this beautiful color palette is—without a doubt—an eye pleaser. This pallet especially blossoms for an outdoor wedding; the surrounding greenery when tied together with the punch of orange is gorgeous. Mix and match these inspiring colors to create a color theme you are sure to love.

Myndi and Dennis definitely knew what they wanted when they began planning their wedding. Their big day had to be unique and entertaining for their guests, but most importantly, it had to showcase who they are. "There was no single thing that inspired the design and concept behind our wedding," Myndi says. "Dennis and I really wanted our wedding to ooze our personalities." That mission was accomplished. When either of them had a new idea, like giving their guests slap bracelets as thank you gifts, they did it.
