Oftentimes, detail shots are some of the most memorable when you're going back through your wedding photos. One of our favorites are detail shots of the shoes - whether they're the bride's, groom's, bridesmaids', or groomsmen's.

If you like these, be sure to ask your photographer to take a couple of quick shots on your big day. After all, every bride puts a little bit of thought into what shoes she wears on her wedding day. You might as well honor your gorgeous footwear with a photo!

Bold, color shoes are an easy and fun way to add a splash of color to your wedding day look. Coordinate with your bridesmaids for additional flair! These green sandals are to die for - we love the bright lime hue!

Weddings that combine classic elegance with modern elements always achieve fantastic results. This Washington DC wedding is no exception. The bride and groom held their wedding in a gorgeous, traditional venue but added modern, unique touches like mini chalkboards and a chic cooler of iced tea and effectively achieved a fun and fresh look.

Happy Thanksgiving Vermont Vows readers! Today is a day for family and friends and of course, a generous helping of turkey! Brides-to-be, take a break from wedding planning to relax, catch up, and enjoy!

A mutual friend introduced Josh and Erin when they were students at Ithaca College in New York. Although they made an instant connection, it was the end of the school year so they didn't start dating right away. They both went home for the summer but as soon as they returned to Ithaca in the fall, Josh scoured the school directory trying to find the right Erin. Ultimately he was too nervous to call but soon after, he spent a night moving from bar to bar until he found Erin and asked her out in person.

Once again, we have a wedding we can't help but want to share! This gorgeous affair came to us from the talented photographers at Alternate Angles. In a move right out of a classic love story, the bride and groom chose to hold their wedding at the Boston Public Library. Not only is this location a majestic city landmark, it's also timeless, home to artist's John Singer Sargent's gorgeous murals, and an undoubtedly beautiful spot for a wedding.

Most brides and grooms-to-be want their entire families to be present at their wedding. For many couples, that includes a furry friend or two. Rest assured that pets are becoming more and more common at weddings. if you're looking for a cute way to include them, consider dressing them up in a bow tie or floral wreath for a festive touch. Outdoor weddings are particularly fun for dogs - and they're so cute, how can you resist not inviting them?
