Sweetly charming or sleek and modern - it's your call. This palette offers endless possibilities for brides who want to summon the sunshine for their wedding day festivities. It's hard to imagine a more modern color combination than clean white and cool gray, but when you add a splash of sunshine, something magical happens: Things get very, very happy. This is not the palette for brides who take their weddings with a side of irony or for those who want solemn faces at the reception.

My grandmother always said I was, "sweet as a peach and twice and as juicy," but I think that turn of phrase best describes this color palette more than the likes of me. Hues in lavender, khaki and peach blend together to form a delicious and inviting spring time design. Include natural elements like canned peaches as party favors, typeset Save the Date fonts in a rich lavender and cap off the accents elements in khaki. Remember there are no rules when it comes to color, go with what makes you feel best!

Erica Goudy might never have connected with fellow Dartmouth student Matthew Dickman if it hadn’t been for her good friend Stefanie. Although they sat at far ends of the table at Stefanie’s birthday party during Erica’s senior year, the next day Stefanie made sure the two had a chance to get better acquainted. Walking with Erica on the campus green, Stefanie spied Matt and spontaneously invited him along to join them on a road-trip to New York City. Just as spontaneously, Matt accepted the offer. The weekend that followed marked the beginning of a lifelong love.

Lindsay Tarasuk wasn’t in the habit of sneaking into the boys’ dormitory, but she had to make an exception for Michael Aroesty. With 570 snoopy students and 120 curious faculty members around, the occasional “teachers’ conference” was sometimes their only opportunity to spend time together.

A Vermont wedding was an obvious choice for Sarah Ketay and Aaron Taylor-Waldman, who grew up here, met here, and later fell in love here. The couple envisioned a relaxed, fun, outdoor wedding that would allow them to share Vermont’s splendor with family and friends from out of town.

For Bridget Austin and Raj Denhoy, love has always seemed like an easy fit. She moved to New York City 20 years ago, and Raj came there from California 15 years later. A good friend introduced them, and as Bridget showed Raj around the city, they became fast friends. Over the course of several months, they grew closer and closer, and after a long stretch apart when both were out of town for work, Raj realized that he had fallen in love with his tour guide and friend. Luckily, the feeling was mutual.
